Over 330 schoolchildren visited our educational exhibition village during the Energy Observer stopover in Cape Town, South Africa.

Boosting young people's energy ambitions
Our educational village met a curious public full of positive energy during this 80th stopover. Visits followed one after the other with numerous pupils from Cape Town schools.
Dr Blade Nzimande, Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, inaugurated our exhibition village on the first day of the stopover; his deputy minister, Buti Manamela, also visited the site for an event organized by Sasol, which brought together over a hundred pupils.
Education is essential to the energy transition, because the least educated people will not be able to participate in this transition.

Hundreds of students on board
The 80th stopover of our Cape Town Odyssey welcomed a young generation full of positive energy aboard our laboratory ship and in our educational exhibition village!
Inspiring, sharing, federating: education plays a major role in accelerating the energy transition! We're delighted to have been able to raise awareness among South Africa's youth of the opportunities offered by the renewable energy and hydrogen sectors.
